Consequences of overloading
1. Endangering cargo safety: The forklift is in an unstable state when overloaded, and it is difficult to control.
2. Endangering personal safety: regardless of machine damage or cargo damage, accidents of personal injury or death may occur at the same time.
3. Harm to the structure of the forklift:
① The tire is overloaded and the deformation increases, and it is easy to blast and deform the rim from the thin sidewall.
②It will cause deformation of the frame, loosening of rivets or even breakage, thereby changing the relative position of the assembly and destroying the normal structure of the forklift.
③Severely affect the performance of the forklift, especially the steering and braking performance. Because the forklift is steering with rear wheels, the steering is light and the wheels swing when overloaded, which is not easy to control, and the braking performance is significantly reduced, which is not conducive to safety.
④ Excessive overloading can easily cause damage to various parts of the forklift, which will cause the forklift to overturn, the cargo will be broken, and a series of accidents such as personal injury and death, forklift damage and cargo damage will occur.
Solution
1. Overloading of forklifts is strictly prohibited
① Don't carry unfixed and loosely stacked goods, and be careful to carry large-sized goods; forklifts with attachments should be operated with load forklifts when they are running empty.
②The loaded cargo is not allowed to exceed the height of the safety frame. If it exceeds, the cargo must be fixed.
2. Install overload alarm

① Pressure valve installation: The pressure valve head interface is G1/4 taper thread, rated pressure 50-150 kg pressure, rated current 0.5A, normally open type, when the pressure exceeds the set pressure, the switch is closed. There is a built-in pressure adjusting screw in the head of the pressure valve, counterclockwise to decrease, and clockwise to increase the pressure setting. Select the appropriate position of the high-pressure oil pipe of the forklift lift cylinder, and configure the corresponding 3-way connector according to the specific specification of the oil pipe. Installed in the high-pressure oil circuit, use a fork to scoop up the cargo of the tonnage weight that needs to be set, then adjust the pressure valve adjusting screw to set the critical pressure.
②Wiring instructions: The 2 wires on the pressure valve are switch wires, and the buzzer is controlled by this switch.
